Art v I. A relevant allergen from Artemisia vulgaris pollen. At least 70% of allergic patients to Artemisia vulgaris pollen contained IgE in serum specific to this allergen and a similar percentage shaved specific skin reactivity using purified Art vI for prick test. This allergen should be carefully quantified in all extracts to be employed for clinical use, both diagnosis and immunotherapy. (See Wormwood, mugwort).
