Dictionary of Allergies .. Aeroallergens

Inhalant allergens which are a  wide variety of airborn particles, including various allergens, such as airborne pollens, molds and their spores, animal dander, house dust, house dust mite products etc and organic vapors of the outdoor environment, farms, industries, and homes. Any organic dust or volatile chemical that reacts with proteins may cause allergic rhinitis, asthma, or hypersensitivity pneumonitis. See aeroallergens, sandstorm. Meteorological factors, aeroallergen concentrations and asthma-related visits are interrelated [1].
