Single-blind placebo-controlled food challenge (SBPCFC),

A food challenge during which the physician is aware of what the patient is being fed, but the patient is not.

The suspected food is disguised so the patient is unaware of the contents. For example, a child with a history of peanut  allergy is given peanut  hidden in other food. See Food challenge.
