Dictionary of Allergies .. Dermestidae

The family Dermestidae belongs to the order Coleoptera. Occupational allergy has been described in museum personnel. Dermestidae exposure in wool workers when handling parasitized wool can be a cause of IgE-mediated rhinoconjunctivitis and asthma.
