Cabbage [(L) Brassica oleracea var capitata]

Cabbage is a vegetable of the Cruciferae (Brassicaceae) family eaten fresh or cooked.  It has been reported allergy to several plants in the Brassica family (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and mustard).  It can be expected crossreactivity of cabbage with Turnip, B.napus. spp. and, B.napus (used for oil production).  R16 is the symbol of cabbage in RAST or CAP immunosystem.
